Cove Sport sandal is far stronger and durable compared to the Hi-Tec Tortola Escape sandal. The inner sole grips and the outer/under sole is harder& flexible for any terrain. Dries quick if you take it with to the swimming pool and breathes better if you take it for a jog as a true sports sendal should. The front shell protects your toes if you kick/trip any obstacles by mistake although not sure why, but the back hill is exposed which can dry your foot to an absolute crust and provides entry for those tiny uncomfortable stones. Just ensure to moisturize your foot which is a small price to pay
