Super impressed with this adaptor. A proper Schuko interface ensures correct side-earth contact and preserves all the moulded-plug safety features that would be lost by cutting off the sealed EU plug — no exposed wiring, no mismatched terminals, and no compromised insulation on an appliance not available in SA.
The build quality is excellent: it handles the correct amperage, fits tightly with no wobble or heat build-up, and provides a stable, compliant connection for European appliances.
Trappers was one of the few places where I could find this adaptor quickly and online, and despite it being a branded product (not their own), the pricing was still very competitive.
Delivery was fast, packaging was perfectly sized, and the communication throughout — updates, tracking and relevant info — was excellent. Highly recommended.
