The Moab Speed 2 Leather Waterproof is designed with premium, nubuck leather & utilizes mixed materials for a stylized and modern approach to a leather hiking shoe for the fall season. Equipped with a waterproof membrane inside a molded leather, synthetic, and textile upper that seals out water and lets the moisture escape. 100%recycled laces webbing, breathable mesh lining, and mesh footbed cover, as well as a50% recycled removable EVA foam footbed that sits atop a Vibram TC5+ outsole designed to increase traction and shed debris with each step. Merrell Moab Speed 2 wp

I was really disappointed with the fit of the Merrell Moab Speed 2. I don’t have particularly wide feet, but I found these shoes to be extremely tight and uncomfortable, especially around the forefoot.

I gave them a fair chance, but the fit was uncomfortable enough that I ultimately had to exchange them for another brand. The shoes appear to be well made, and I have no complaints about the quality or construction, but unfortunately the shape and fit simply didn’t work for my feet.

If you have average or wider feet, I would strongly recommend trying them on before purchasing online. For me, the fit was a deal-breaker.

I expected treated breathable leather, but was disappointed in learning the item is rather made from plastic ala Crocks material.
