I've been using this garment as a bush jacket for the last few weeks this winter (July 2020), and am really happy with my purchase. The web-pics don't do it justice. The outer is a thick, 100% nylon (waterproof) shell, which is lined with mesh / lighter nylon for a mix of breathability & warmth. The two chest pockets and two hand pockets are complimented by a hidden (centre-line, next to zip) pocket, which is quite deep in itself. The hood is generous and nicely adjustable (can be stored away or removed)...I'm normally very fussy with hoods, but I've kept this one fitted. The pit zips are an absolute win...not many jackets like this that have these, at this price! The inner, fleece jersey is attached at the cuffs & rear-neck, and zips into the outer for ease of use. The fleece is brushed on the inside to keep the warmth in...two outer pockets are zipped, and it has two inner (open top) pockets, which are great for items not used often; or that need to be kept warm. Tabs for tightening at base & half way up. Didn't really use them. Cuff hook&loop closures too (jersey has stretchy cuffs). I normally take an XL, but decided on a XXL this time...so I can keep 'tools' on my waist without the jacket being too tight. It also sits lower than normal 'sporty-type' jackets, so it keeps the gluts warm too. Washed easily in our cold-water machine. Dried in sun, on a coat hanger. Didn't hold onto smokey smell. Haven't experienced rain in this jacket yet, but got sprayed by a high-volume pump pipe, leading out from a dam (refilling a bakkie-sakkie). No issues. Would definitely buy it again. (3-in-1...raincoat / jersey / warm, wind & waterproof jacket).
