Landy Competition

1. Participation
1. By your participation, you agree that the Rules will govern all aspects of your relationship with Us. These Rules can only be modified (or superseded) by Us (in Our reasonable discretion) in a written revision to these rules posted on the competition Website or (at Our sole discretion) any other potential official competition communication methods reasonably calculated to reach most potential participants.
2. No person who is a director, employee, sponsor or agent of or consultant to Trappers® or any of the Jonsson Workwear group or companies (“JW”) or who is a spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner, or associate to a director, employee or agent of or consultant to Trappers® or JW, is eligible to participate or enter this competition.
3. Our competitions are only open to legal residents of the Republic of South Africa who are over the age of 18 years of age.
4. Per Facebook and Instagram rules, this promotion is in no way sponsored, administered, or associated with Facebook or Instagram, Inc. By entering, participants confirm that they are 18 plus years of age, release Facebook and Instagram of responsibility, and agree to Facebook and Instagram’s Terms of Use.
5. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the competition can be directed to Us and not to Facebook or Instagram.
2. Entries
1. Each day the competition will close at 17h00 (05:00pm) and a Prize Winner will be randomly selected.
2. Entries received after 17h00 (05:00pm) will be entered into the following days draw.
3. Only one entry is allowed per participant per day. Entries received that exceed this limit will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.
4. A participant may not win more than one prize within a four-month period following the first win, nor shall any member of such participants family residing at the same address be entitled to a prize within the four-month period following the first win. We reserve the right to withhold prizes from any such participant, and to reclaim any such prize if a breach of this Rule is subsequently discovered.
5. The only valid method of entering the competition is to take a selfie next to our Trappers Land Rover and Tag @trappers.outdoor.
6. By entering the competition, you agree that your images will be shared on our digital platforms and may be used for publicity as this contest includes a photographic element. By entering this competition, you give us the rights to use your image on any of our platforms.
7. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in transmission.
8. Entries reflected on Our records will be treated as the only validation source and will be the only evidence of successful entries.
3. Prizes
1. The prize is a R1 000 Trappers online voucher and can only be redeemed by shopping on the trappers.co.za online store.
2. The voucher is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
3. Income taxes relating to the prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winners.
4. Prize Winner selection
1. Winners will be drawn by Us from all valid entries only.
2. The Prize Winners will be notified via social media and will be asked to provide an email address to receive their vouchers.
3. Prize Winners may be requested to participate in publicity connected to Our competitions. By entering the competitions, the prize winners grant permission for the use of their names and photographs in any advertising and promotional material for the Competition.
4. The participants and Prize Winners absolve Us, our affiliates, Our advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers, nominated agents and dealers from liability from any and all claims howsoever arising, including from wilful misconduct or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any such participant.
5. We reserve the right to alter or cancel the competition at Our discretion, without recourse.
6. The selection of the Prize Winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Personal Data
1. You may be asked to provide your full name, phone number, e-mail address and other related information; (amongst others).
2. We will collect and will use the personal data listed in order to enable participation in the Competition and related online activities.
3. The personal data will be available exclusively for Us, Our affiliates and subsidiaries’ for marketing purposes and, by participating in the Competition, you expressly consent to the transfer, storage and processing of the data in South Africa.
4. We keep the data to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations.
5. By entering the competition, you grant Us and Our affiliated companies the right, except where prohibited by law, to use your name for competition purposes in promoting or publicising the competition, including the right to name the Prize Winner(s) of the prize(s) in public.
6. We do not allow third parties to use the personal information for a different purpose.
6. Release of Liability
1. If You enter this competition, You agree not to hold Us or any of Our associated parties liable for any loss or injury you may suffer as a result of entering this competition.
